4- First aid measures:
General information:
Symptoms of poisoning may even occour after several hours; therefore-medical ovservation   for at
least 48 hours after the accident. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
After inhalation:
Supply fresh air and call for doctor for safety reasons. In case of unconsciousness bring patient  into
stable site position for transport.
After skin contact:
Instantly wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly for several minutes. Consult doctor if
irritation persists.
After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.
After swallowing:
DO NOT induce the patient to vomit. In case of persistent symptoms consult doctor

Fire fighting measures:
Suitable extinguishing agents:
CO2, extinguishing powder or water jet.
For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents:

Water with a full water jet.
Special hazards caused by the material, its product of combustion or flue gases:
In case of fire, formation of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, isocyanate vapor and traces of
hydrogen cyanide is possible. Firemen have to wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Protective equipment:
Put on breathing apparatus.

Person-related safety precautions:
Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Wear protective clothing.
Measure for environment protection:
Do not allow product to reach sewage system or water bodies. Prevent material form reaching
sewage system, holes and cellars.
Measure for cleaning/ collecting:
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, was dust).
Transfer to waste container after approx. 1 hour. Keep damp and in the open air in a safe place
(CO2-formation!) For a few days; the waste can than disposed of on approved land fill or a special
refuse dump. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Liquid decontaminants (percentage by weight of volume):

–  Liquid detergent: 0.2 – 2 %

Observe the usual precautionary measures for chemicals. Avoid contact with skin. Ensure effective
ventilation if product heated . in all areas where MDI aerosols and/or vapor concentrations are
produced, exhaust ventilation must be provided in such a way that the OEL is not exceeded. The
air should be drawn away from the personal handling the product and the efficiency of the exhaust
equipment should be periodically checked.

Components with critical values that require monitoring at the workplace:
To wear protective clothing adapted gloves and an apparatus of protection of the face/eyes. The
atmospheric concentrations must be reduced and maintained as low as possible insofar as that it
technically and reasonably possible, below the exposition values limit . We can smell the
iscoyanates only if the exposition value limits were exceeded considerably. A medical follow-up of
all the employees who handle or are in contact with sensitizing respiratory is recommend . The
personnel having history of an asthmatic type, cutaneous bronchi tides  or sensitizing should not work with products containing isocyanates. The exposition values limits mentioned below do not fit

with the individuals having been sensitized before. These already sensitized individuals must be exempted of all new exposure.

Specification symptoms in biological assay:

In a long-term  inhalation  study,  rats were exposed  over a period of 2  years  to mechanically
generated breathable aerosols (aerodynamic diameter 95% less than 5 unit) of polymeric MDI
PMDI) in concentrations of 0,2; 1,0 and 6, 0 mg PMDI /m3. The group of animals exposed to
he highest concentration suffered an increased incidence of lung tumors,persistent inflammatory
changes to the nose, respiratory tract and lungs. The animals in the 1, 0 mg/m3 group exhibited
slight irritation and  inflammatory  changes to the nose,  respiratory tract  and lungs, but did not
develop lung tumors and /or deposit.  0, 2 mg/m3  (no effect level).  Animals in the 6, 0 groups
mg/m3 suffered important irritation and strong chronic inflammation to the nose, respiratory tract

Curing profile:
Curing takes place at ambient temperature by reaction with atmospheric moisture.
Higher temperatures, at accelerator and moisture will shorten the cure time.

Application fields:
Gluing various thermal panels.
Recommended for complex jointing of thermal & acoustic panels based on urethane or polystyrol parts on plaster.

Application:
The recommended material temperature should be at 10 – 300C. The parts to be
glued should be clean, dry and free from grease.

Material consumption:
Average consumption: 90 to 250 gr/m2 for a gravity application through a die.
Consumption depending on substrata and isolating elements.
Roller or brush applications are possible.

Precaution:
Material safety data sheet should be read very carefully before use. The glue
contains flammable solvent.

Packaging:
60 kg net drums. Other size on request.

Storage:
The glue must be protected against humidity and stored above 50C . The ideal
storage temperature is 15 – 200C.

Shelf life:
At 15 – 250C, the material can be stored for at least six months, in the original
closed drums. Opened drums should be used up quickly.
